Our hand-spun, natural hay-rope is ideal for rabbits, guinea pigs, degus, gerbils, hamsters, and other small herbivores. It combines play and nourishment into one fun product! Made from premium, pesticide-free meadow hay grown from our own One-Planet fields (more details here), it offers a healthy, chewable treat while providing mental and physical stimulation for your furry friends.

Hang it in their habitat for climbing, chewing, and gnawing fun, or simply place it on the ground for them to explore and enjoy. Its durable yet soft texture makes it ideal for tugging, nibbling, or weaving into other toys. You can even use it to hang additional chewable items for extra entertainment!

Each metre of hay rope is approximately 1" thick, ensuring it's sturdy enough to last while soft enough for smaller pets to safely chew. Whether for your smallest gerbil or your biggest bunny, this versatile rope is a great way to keep your pets busy and their teeth healthy.

Our ropes are handmade to order, ensuring the freshest hay is used every time. The texture may vary slightly throughout the year as we work with natural seasonal materials, but we always guarantee high quality. This makes our hay rope the perfect addition to any small pet's home.

Safe Storage

Like any natural product, hay-rope is prone to rotting and mildew. To keep your hay-rope fresh, store it in a cool, dry place with good ventilation, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid plastic bags or sealed containers, which may cause mildew or rotting.

Orders will be delivered in full lengths. For example, if you order either 5 x 1mtr lengths or 1 x 5mtr length you will receive a single, 5mtr length of rope. The drop-down offers a range of length options. If your desired length is not on the list simply order multiple items until your choice is reached (eg (3 x 1mtr) + (1 x 5mtr) = 8mtr).
